This website will keep you up to date with what's happening on the waveski surfing scene in Australia and overseas. It is provided by Waveski Surfing Australia Inc., the national association for the sport in Australia and will be regularly updated with stories and news on a routine basis.

ROUND 2 - QLD Open 2-3 June 2012 - The event will be a mobile comp so depending on conditions could be held anywere between Currimundi to Noosa. We will meet at Perigeon Beach SLSC club northern car park Sat morning at 6.30 . The events major sponsors are Volatile Surf Creations and Zee wetsuits. Entry form

MEMBERSHIP - The ongoing issue regarding our membership costs have finally been resolved, we have moved to getting our stand alone coverage for the time being. The costs were out weighing the benefits (which was basically none) being under the wing of another organisation. So as of 31st of January 2012 the membership cost is now $45 per year. This has been a lengthy process to sort out but I think it is in the best interest of our members to keep the costs reasonable for the present and near future. Competitors that entered the 2011 Nationals at Durras paid a $45 membership fee are waivered for 2012, they will renew it on 31 January 2013. Any competitors that wish to compete in any of the events in the calender that did not compete in the 2011 Nationals will need to pay their fees before entering a event, we will be supplying a list before the Lakesea event on march 24-25 to region delegates to ensure membership is paid in full. If entrants do not wish to pay the membership, a $15 fee per contest will be on top of their entry fee. New membership forms will be out soon.

NEW CONTEST SCENE - Voted in at the last AGM is a new contest point system. We will be sporting a full ranking system to prepare for the 2013 World Title Event is Brazil. The Australia team will be picked on riders performance - read more. - 10/1/2012

NEW WEBSITE - Discussed at the 2011 AGM, the committee will be building a new website to attract a larger audience and be more constructive towards building our sport and becoming more user friendly with ease of use. We will be setting up a progress section so members can see the performance and tasks at hand. More to come. -10/1/2012
