The North Coast Club had their first club day of the year today. Unfortunately the onshore conditions that have been affecting the Sunshine Coast over the last couple of weeks returned early Sunday morning and offshore conditions the day before.

The day started at Kawana, with easterly winds turning the break ugly.  There were two heats and then it was called it off for a free surf at Moffats.  Ten people in all turned up.  Moffats was much better with some good waves coming through.  Steve Farthing was the stand out surfer, he pulled a very radical air at Kawana and surfed well at Moffats.

Everyone had coffee and lunch at a cafe overlooking the beach and everyone headed home.
