Seven am sunday morning and eight dedicated waveski surfers meet to formally restart the North Coast Waveski Club. Three to four foot lumpy conditions at the Kawana surf club greeted the crew who were all keen for a hit out. We decide on a man on man format with repercharge, 20 minute heats, best two waves. Travis Best and James Timperley were getting air, Rob Dalla-Bona and Bill Campbell were solid top to bottom, Steve Farthing was risking everything without much success and Gary Ross couldn't find the waves. Mike Payne and Rob Tapp gave it their best with Rob taking out the best wipeout.

After the comp we went back to Bill's place to check out the new WSA video "Twenty Seven" then Rob Tapp was up for rolling lessons in Bill's pool.
