Club Day Report 30th July 2006
By Steve Farthing

A solid clean four feet of surf was on offer this morning and the crew of eight decided to have a free surf instead of structured competition. Nigel Bryant made the long drive up from the Gold Coast and was determined to pull off an aerial on every wave, watch out everyone this guy is getting really good. Sasha, one of our new members took a huge pounding on the shore break talk about perseverance. Rob Tap has improved to another level and has just about conquered the eskimo roll and Scott Waldron turned up with a brand spanking new Gee Board and pulled off a big reo on his first wave, another guy who's improving with every surf.

After a three hour session a few of us went back to Bill Campbell's place to watch a demo of the next movie from WSA "Box of Gold" featuring Rees Duncan in the early 1990's

Let's see a bigger turnout for the next club day on the 27th August .
