The inaugural 2008 East Coast Competition Circuit was held this year and consisted of a series of events where points were allocated to placings in the open division from each event with an overall points score winner for the year and some divisional prizes. All events were open to Internationals and WA surfers, with the exception of the Australian Titles which is open to Australian residents only.

Congratulations to Dale Randahl who was the overall point score winner for 2008. Dale went home with a $200 travel voucher from Flight Centre. Divisional prizes also went to Graham Roberts in the Veterans, Ben Buckley in the juniors and Melissa Hardy in the womens division. Thanks to Ocean Calendars for their kind donation of East Coast Tide Calendars for the divisional winners.
