Waveski Surfing Australia Inc. is a non-profit organisation for the sport in Australia. All committee members are volunteers and donate their time to help coordinate the sport. The role of WSA is to administer the sport at a National level, assist with National competitions, provide a website to communicate information on the sport, manage finances, organise meetings and fullfil the needs of members Australia wide.

There are ongoing costs with running a National association such as website hosting, compilation and submission of financial documents, insurance, newsletters and bank fees. These are financed through membership fees, fundraising and sponsorship.

Our membership numbers are no where in the vicinity of the 70's and 80's. To further build the sport from the current level, it will require additional funds in addition to the running costs.
