Rees Duncan, Shelley Beach, Emerald - This manoeuvre was during the second round of the Coffs Harbour Open. It was awesome surf all day, with some of, if not the best contest surfing every seen. Nick Boon beat Rees in the final on a count back. Rees recounts the wave as just one of those instinctive moves when your having a good day and you go for it! Its a typical barrell roll, just timed well and done on the lip instead of under the lip. The waveski was a De-Slash shaped by Mark Laphan, which enable more vertical surfing and like a stand up surfer.
