World Waveski Championships
Past Champions

Competition waveski surfing originated in 1978 and the first World waveski championships (WT) was held in South Africa in 1984. It was intended to be a biennial event and in 1988 a World Cup (WC) competition was introduced every alternate year until 1996. Since then the world titles has been held yearly until 2005 where there has been a 2 year gap. The 16th world titles for waveski surfing was held in Durban, South Africa in July 2006 and the 2007 titles are destined for New Zealand in March.

Despite searching extensively, we have been unable to collate complete records for the past world champions. If your name is missing or you know of some further results, please email us at WSA so we can update our records.

World Cup and Titles statistics have also been collated on the country, individual and competition results we have to date.
